Welcome!
I am a Ph.D. candidate in Business and Economics at Lehigh University. I am on the 2026-27 academic job market.
My research focuses on health policy, especially substance use and mental health. I ask who bears the cost when a policy changes: whether cannabis legalization in one state raises psychiatric hospitalizations in its neighbor, whether closing state psychiatric hospitals moves long-stay care into community hospitals, and how poor oral health affects heart disease and what older adults pay for it. I use quasi-experimental methods and administrative data, including restricted all-payer hospital records.
My teaching interests span microeconomics and macroeconomics, statistics and econometrics, data analytics and program evaluation, finance, and field courses in health economics, public economics, industrial organization, and labor economics.
